Above: Makita XPS® Packaging
Packaging for a new line of fastening bits and accessories. The new line needed a system for customer’s to distinguish between different fastening bits quickly and also maintain brand design. The end result was to implement a color-coded system for Philips, Square, and Torx bits that could be easily implemented over different packaging and bulk options.
Middle: Makita X-Lock / Diamond Blade Packaging
This was a line of new diamond blades that incorporated X-Lock branding. Clamshell and blade label design still needed to be within Makita design guidelines. An illustration showing compatibility and function was created for the clamshell packaging and also used on various marketing collateral.
Below: Makita Flap-Disc update
This was an updated to the label on flap-discs that also included variable data for some specifications. Older versions are shown on the right. A label for the value version was also created with spec and savings callouts.
